WARR ACRES — Mustang had four players in double figures in a 65-23 win over Putnam City Friday (Feb. 13) in Brandon Jackson’s return to Original.

Jackson, a 2008 Putnam City graduate, coached the Pirates last season before moving to Mustang.

Former Pirates Gabriel Osborne, Jr. (11 points) and Mar’Quell Robinson (4 points) returned as well for the 6A-1 contest.

Junior DeMarre Threatt led PC with seven points. Fellow junior Ryan Young added six points with two 3-pointers.

UP NEXT

Putnam City (4-16, 1-12) hosts Putnam City West Tuesday (Feb. 17) at 7:30 p.m. to wrap up 6A-1 play.

The Patriots beat Westmoore Friday, 78-42.
