BETHANY — Bethany honored its volleyball seniors with a 3-0 shutout of 4A 12th-ranked Tecumseh Tuesday (Sept. 30).

The Bronchos won, 25-16, 25-20 and 25-18.

“Fun night of watching the seniors get to play together in their last regular season match,” Bethany coach Kerri Cagle said via text. “They’ve definitely left their mark in the program and will be greatly missed.”

With the win, the second-ranked Bronchos improved to 25-2 and finish with an 11-0 record at home.

UP NEXT

Bethany will play in the Greater Metro Conference Tournament Friday and Saturday (Oct. 3-4) at Community Christian.

The Bronchos open with 4A 16th-ranked Crossings Christian (14-16) Friday at 9 a.m. The Knights beat Oklahoma Christian Academy, 3-1, last Thursday (Sept. 25).

Bethany faces Santa Fe South (17-7) at 11 a.m. The Saints lost to 5A El Reno, 3-1, Monday.

Finally, the Bronchos meet 5A second-ranked Oklahoma Christian School (20-9) Friday at 2 p.m. OCS fell to the OKC Storm, 3-2, Tuesday.

The matches on Saturday have yet to be determined.
