BETHANY — Bethany struggled to score runs for a second straight game and 3A power Perry scored three runs in the sixth inning for a 3-0 shutout Monday (Sept. 29) on Senior Day.

The Maroons’ rally was keyed by a two-run home run from senior Alliyah Shrum.

The Bronchos had opportunities to score, leaving six runners on base.

Bethany’s best opportunity came in the fourth inning when they loaded the bases with one out but couldn’t score.

Junior Jules Barger went 2-for-3 with a double. Fellow junior Ella Davis went 2-for-2. Junior Emma Geissler added a 1-for-2 day.

UP NEXT

Bethany hosts Class 4A Regional 6 Thursday and Friday. (Oct. 2 and Oct. 3).

The Bronchos will play Anadarko (0-28) Thursday at 11 a.m. Depending on the outcomes, Bethany will play wither Perkins-Tryon or Byng at 5 p.m. (winner’s bracket) or 3 p.m. (loser’s bracket).
