BETHANY — Bethany continued its winning streak Thursday (Sept. 18) by beating Heritage Hall, 3-2. The Bronchos have now won eight straight matches.

Bethany, third ranked in 4A won the first two sets, 25-19 and 25-9. The Chargers, ranked fourth in 3A, won the next pair of sets, 23-25 and 23-25. The Bronchos sealed the win by winning the final set, 15-8.

Senior Skylar Brady had 10 digs, three blocks and 38 kills. Junior Gracee Geissler added 18 digs. Senior Callie Gulikers contributed 16 digs and senior Chloe Evans had 17 set assists.

Senior Maya McPhaul finished with five digs, two aces and three blocks. Bella Huckaby added three kills and two blocks. Junior Keyaira O’Hern followed with four blocks and 14 kills. Junior Emma Sailer had three blocks and nine kills.

UP NEXT

Bethany (22-1) hosts 5A Newcastle (9-11) Monday (Sept. 22) at 6 p.m.

The Racers fell to Oologah, 2-0, Friday in Tuttle Tournament. That tournament continues Saturday.
