NORMAN — Putnam City North dropped its final warmup game for the regional playoffs on Monday (Oct. 5), a 14-2 loss to Norman.
The Panthers scored a pair of runs to open the game.
Junior Kayleigh Andrews led off the game with a walk. Senior Kayla Orton reached on a fielder’s choice but Andrews was safe at second.
Senior Savannah Martinez drove in Andrews and senior Laila Willoby-Taylor drove in Orton.
The Panthers got one more hit, a 2-out single by senior Presley Standridge in the second inning.

The Panthers (4-22) open Class 6A Regional 2 play at Choctaw on Wednesday (Oct. 7). North meets Broken Arrow at 12 p.m. and Westmoore or Bixby in the second game, either at 4 or 6 p.m.
