WARR ACRES — Putnam City West’s boys squad finished seventh Thursday (April 30) at the Big 7 Conference meet at Pirate Stadium.

The Patriots won the 4×800 relay with a time of 8:55.93. The team is comprised of juniors Diego Garcia, Mario Romero Colis plus seniors Shiloh Nixon and Jeremy Steward.

Garcia also picked up a second-place finish in the 1600 meters. He ran it in 4:49.40.

UP NEXT

Putnam City West travels to Jenks for 6A regionals May 9. They’re joined by host Jenks, Bartlesville, Choctaw, Muskogee, Piedmont, Stillwater and Union.
