WARR ACRES — Jenks held Putnam City to three hits in a 19-1 win over the Pirates Monday (April 20) in a 6A-3 matchup.
The Trojans led 13-0 when PC got on the scoreboard. Original loaded the bases. Senior Justin Knight walked, fellow senior Henry Thein singled to left and freshman Dylan Grigsby walked.
Junior Chase Guethle reached on an infield error which scored Knight.
Junior Bryson Vanover and Knight each had a hit.
Putnam City batters struck out eight times in the loss.
