ELK CITY — Elk City beat Western Heights 13-2 Friday (April 10) in a game rescheduled from March 10.

The Jets were held to three hits in the loss.

Western Heights took a 1-0 lead in the first inning after senior Akin Aguillard tripled home sophomore Heyward Martin, who singled with two outs.

The Jets added another run in the fourth inning. Sophomore J.J. Bradley grounded out, which scored Aguillard, who walked.

Elk City senior Drayton Parks pitched all five innings of the run-rule. He allowed three hits and both runs. He walked one batter and struck out 10.
