OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West’s bats went silent in a 6A-1 doubleheader sweep at the hands of Westmoore Tuesday (April 7).

Westmoore sophomore Brody Miller pitched a five-inning no-hitter against West. Miller walked two batters and struck out five.

Sophomore Cadence Smith and senior Kasen Jones drew the walks. Jones added a stolen base.

The Jags scored eight runs in the fourth inning for the run-rule win.

West had opportunities with baserunners in each inning of the contest.

Junior Aaron De Loera, Smith and junior Daniel Hoyt each had a hit. De Loera and Jones also were hit by a pitch. Sophomore Malachi Ferguson walked twice. Senior Ezequiel Hernandez and Hoyt each had a free pass.

Westmoore senior Brodie Inhofe struck out 11 batters over five innings for the win.
