
TUTTLE — Tuttle scored 11 runs in the fourth inning for a 17-1 win over Bethany Monday (April 6) in a 4A-3 matchup.
Trailing 1-0 in the second inning, junior Connor Syndes led off with a single and went to third base on an error. Sydnes scored on a groundout by freshman Jayden Rose.
The Bronchos managed just two more hits while the Tigers built a 6-1 lead before the fourth-inning outburst.
Tuttle walked four times and had seven hits in the rally.
Junior Brody McLaren and sophomore Cooper Suarez each had a hit.
McLaren took the loss and allowed 10 hits and 10 runs in three innings. He walked three and struck out four.
