NORMAN — The Panthers took a first inning lead and had scoring opportunities but fell in a close game.
in the first inning, North senior Reece Hubble doubled and later scored on a sacrifice fly by fellow senior Quincy Robinson for the Panthers’ lone run.
Hubble was 2-for-4 and Owen Attebery finished 2-for-3. Seniors Austin Guerrero and Xavier Sarkey each had hits.
Senior Alfredo Renteria took the loss despite striking out seven batters in the complete game outing.
