OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West found itself on both sides of lopsided scores Monday and Tuesday (March 23-24).
MONDAY: PUTNAM CITY WEST 12, CROOKED OAK 2
Kaydence Lopez doubled, homered and drove in four runs in the run-rule win over the Ruf-Nex.
West broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with six runs. The Patriots walked seven times in the inning and Aaliyah Lewis doubled.
Lopez doubled and Analicia Ramirez tripled for three runs in the fourth. In the fifth inning, Lopez hit an three-run inside-the-park home run to end the game in a run-rule.
Jazmyne Thomas scattered five hits. She walked three batters and struck out six in the win.

The visiting Royals scored nine runs in the third inning en route to a blowout win.
Lopez doubled in the first inning and scoerd on Mia Nevarez’s double for the Patriots’ only run.
Lopez, Taylor Diaz and Melody Whymann each went 2-for-2 in the loss.
CCS collected 13 hits and took advantage of five West errors.
