
OKLAHOMA CITY — Western Heights picked up its first two victories of the season in a doubleheader sweep of Star Spencer Thursday (March 12).
WESTERN HEIGHTS 15, STAR SPENCER 1
The Jets scored 15 runs in the second inning for the run-rule win.
Western Heights collected nine hits and walked seven times.
Freshman Hunter Rule went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs batted in. He also had a stolen base.
Freshman Tyler Edmiston was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Edmiston stole three bases. Senior Akin Aguillard also had two hits in three at-bats with an RBI.
Senior Parker Kronk was 1-for-2 with two runs batted in. Fellow senior Connor Logsdon drove in two run without a hit. Logsdon walked twice and stole a base.
Sophomore Heyward Martin was 1-for-1 with an RBI and two stolen bases.
Rule pitched two innings of hitless ball. He walked two batters and struck out six. Logsdon pitched the final inning. He gave up a hit and a run. He walked three batters and struck out three batters.

Aguillard and Edmiston combined for a 3-inning no-hitter. Aguillard struck six batters and walked one in two innings. Edmiston walked one and struck out two.
