
WEATHERFORD — Bethany stayed alive in the 4A regional playoffs Friday (Feb. 27) with a 68-39 win over Clinton.
“I’m proud of the guys! Bethany coach Josh Holliday said via text. “Survive and advance is the only goal!”
A big second quarter opened up a double-digit lead for the Bronchos, who held the Red Tornadoes to single-digit scoring in the first and third quarters.
Sophomore Breck Brady scored a game-high 14 points. Senior Denton Jaggers added 12 points.
UP NEXT
Bethany (21-6) plays Woodward (18-9) Saturday at 1 p.m. at Weatherford. The winner advances to the next round, the Area I playoffs. A loss ends the Bronchos’ season.
