CHICKASHA — Western Heights struggled with turnovers Tuesday (Feb. 24) and fell to Crossings Christian, 62-36, in the first round of the Class 4A Area III regional playoffs.
The Jets turned the ball over 23 times in the loss. The third-ranked Knights built a 15-4 lead after the first quarter and held Western Heights to single-digit scoring in the first, third and fourth quarters.
Senior Jaden Diaz led the Jets with 10 points, including six points in the second half. Junior Zion Castaneda added nine points, with three 3-pointers in the second quarter.

Western Heights faces elimination Friday (Feb. 27) with a contest against Purcell (19-8) at 2:30 p.m. in the 4A Area III Regional C consolation bracket in Chickasha.
