


OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North seniors Jayla Constant and Kiana Gray were honored Friday (Feb. 20) for each reaching the 1,000-point milestone in their careers.
Constant surpassed the mark against Bartlesville on Jan. 6 while Gray did it against Stillwater on Jan. 31.
Constant, a UNLV signee, is averaging 13 points game. She also has five rebounds and 2.6 steals a contest.
Gray is averaging 10.7 points a game. She also averages 1.9 rebounds and 2.4 steals a contest.
Both players won a 6A state championship at Putnam City West as sophomores in 2024. Gray moved to North last season and was a part of the Panthers’ 6A title. Constant played her junior season at Grind Prep before making the move to North for her senior season.
North’s quest for back-to-back gold balls begins next week.
The Panthers (24-1) host 6A East Regional 1. The Panthers face Northwest Classen (2-19) next Thursday (Feb. 26) at 6 p.m.
After a 2-1 start to the start the season,the Knights have lost 18 straight games. Enid beat Northwest Classen 52-5 Tuesday. (Feb. 17).
