
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West tuned up for the 6A playoffs and celebrated the senior class with a 68-18 rout of 3A Harding Fine Arts Wednesday (Feb. 18).
The Patriots (16-7) had five players score in double figures.
Sophomore Miekyel Armstead scored a game-high 15 points with two 3-pointers. Senior Demetrice Carter added 12 points on four treys.
Sophomore Earl Smith also scored 12 points with two 3-pointers.
Senior Quavion Wheeler followed with 11 points, nine points in the first half alone. Junior Andre Farrar also had 11 points, including seven points in the first half.
UP NEXT
West (15-7) travels to Southmoore for for the 6A West Regional 4 next Friday (Feb. 27). The Patriots will meet Sapulpa (8-16).
The Chieftains have lost five out of their last six games.
