
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West had five players score in double figures in a 78-42 win over Westmoore Friday (Feb. 13) in 6A-1 play.
The Patriots had big second and third quarters en route to the win.
Senior Demetrice Carter scored a game-high 18 points with two 3-pointers. Fellow senior Quavion Wheeler added 17 points with two treys.
Junior Andre Farrar had 16 points. Farrar was 6-of-6 from the free throw line. Sophomore Miekyel Armstead had 10 points. Armstead hit 8 of 8 free throws.
Junior Elijah Turner also had 10 points. Turner sank a 3-pointer. He also had five of his points in the fourth quarter.

West (14-7, 8-5) finishes 6A- 1 play by traveling to sister school and rival Putnam City (4-16, 1-12) Tuesday (Feb. 17) at 7:30 p.m.
The Pirates fell to Mustang, 65-23, Friday.
West routed Putnam City, 86-43, on Jan. 16.
