

OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North routed overmatched Capitol Hill Friday (Feb. 13), 82-5, in the Panthers’ final 6A-3 contest.
The win extended the Panthers’ win streak to 16 and gave North its second straight perfect season in district play.
The Panthers allowed just a lone free throw by the Red Wolves in the first half and the running clock started early.
North had three players score in double figures and 11 players scored in the blowout.
Senior Da’Nae Jefferson scored a game-high 20 points with four 3-pointers. Jefferson had two rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Fellow senior Kiana Gray scored 11 points (all in the third quarter). Gray sank two treys. She had four assists, five steals and a blocked shot.
Senior Makiya Moore followed with 10 points, six rebounds and two steals.
Senior Tehlia Kutsoati added nine points with three 3-pointers.
As a team, North connected on 14 treys.
Junior Richiya Miller had seven points, two rebounds and two steals.
Freshman Layla Shomo and senior Paige Williams each had six points. Williams added three rebounds and three assists. Shomo had three rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Senior Jayla Constant scored five points. She had two rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots.
UP NEXT
The Panthers (23-1) host sister school and rival Putnam City (2-21) next Friday (Feb. 20) at 6 p.m. to wrap up the regular season.
The Pirates fell to Mustang, 80-20, Friday. PC will host Putnam City West Tuesday before facing North.
