
WEATHERFORD — Weatherford rode a second-surge for a 46-31 win over Bethany Tuesday (Feb. 10) in a Western Athletic Conference game.
The Bronchos held a 17-16 lead at halftime, but were outscored 30-14 in the second half of the loss.
Senior Denton Jaggers led Bethany will 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting. Jaggers had four rebounds and an assist.
Junior Malachi Chatman added seven points. Chatman hit 3 of 5 shots from the field. He had a rebound and an assist.
Sophomore Breck Brady scored five points and had five rebounds.
The Bronchos struggled to make shots, shooting 30 percent from the field.

Bethany (17-5, 5-2) hosts Clinton (4-17, 1-6) Thursday (Feb. 12) at 8 p.m. for a Western Athletic Conference contest rescheduled from Jan. 27, when a winter storm kept the teams off the floor.
The Red Tornadoes fell to Elk City last Friday (Feb. 7), 47-45.
