
WARR ACRES — After taking control of the contest in the third quarter, Putnam City faltered in the fourth quarter of a 53-51 loss to Lawton Eisenhower Tuesday (Feb. 10) in a 6A-1 action.
Trailing 29-22 at halftime, the Pirates outscored the Eagles 18-3 in the third quarter to a take a 40-32 lead. PC junior Ryan Young scored eight of 17 points in the quarter with two 3-pointers. Fellow junior Myron Cooper added six points in the quarter.
Ike surged back in the fourth quarter to earn the close victory.
Young finished with five treys in the loss. Cooper also finished with 17 points.

Putnam City (4-15, 1-11) hosts Mustang Friday (Feb. 13) at 7:30 p.m. for another 6A-1 matchup.
The Broncos (19-3, 11-1) beat Choctaw 89-63 on Tuesday.
