
BETHANY — Bethany sophomore Breck Brady poured in 31 points as the Bronchos held off Tuttle, 71-61, Tuesday (Jan. 13).
Brady sank 12 buckets in the win. He scored 10 points in the first quarter as Bethany got off to a 23-11 lead. Brady added nine points in the fourth quarter, including a 3-for-4 performance from the free throw line to seal the win.
The Bronchos built a double-digit lead in the first half, but saw it evaporate in the third quarter. The Tigers tied the game at 50 with 5:53 left in the game.
Tuttle stayed close for the next two minutes. Brady sank a bucket and foul shot and the Bronchos began to pull away.
Senior Denton Jaggers added nine points with five in the first quarter. Fellow senior Seth Greiner followed with eight points, six in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore Rhett Brobston and Malachi Chatman each scored seven points. Both had treys in the win.

Bethany (10-4) hosts Western Heights Friday (Jan. 16) at 8:30 p.m.
The Jets (6-7) beat John Marshall 45-32, Tuesday.
Before the boys game, Bethany will honor the 2001 Class 3A State Championship team.
