
BETHANY — Bethany overcame a first-half deficit to Tuttle and junior Camry Regier scored 21 points in the Bronchos’ 57-47 win Tuesday (Jan. 13).
The Bronchos trailed 24-19 at halftime, but reeled off a 6-0 run to start the second half and held the Tigers to just eight points in the third quarter.
Regier just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. She added three assists and three steals. Regier scored 12 of her 21 points in the third quarter surge.
Junior Ali Linn was an efficient 5-of-7 from the field and scored 10 points. She also just missed a double-double with nine rebounds.
Senior Madison McNutt had a third-quarter three pointer and then hit all of six of her free throws in the fourth quarter for nine points.
Senior Madison Bibbs followed with five points, nine rebounds and a steal.
The Bronchos shot 37 percent from the field and struggled from the free throw line, shooting 50 percent. Bethany had 14 turnovers while the Broncho defense had 10 steals.
