
HULBERT — Bethany advanced to the championship game of the Lake Regional Electric Cooperative Hulbert Invitational with an 82-47 win over 3A Westville Friday (Jan. 9).
The Bronchos had three players score in double figures in the win.
Senior Jagger Weaver scored 20 points, nine in the first quarter alone. Weaver sank three treys in the win.
Sophomore Breck Brady scored 18 points, 10 of which came in the first quarter.
Despite Weaver and Brady’s totals in the opening quarter, Bethany led by just seven points, 22-15. The Bronchos extended the lead to double digits by halftime and held the Yellowjackets to single digits in both the third and fourth quarter for the blowout win.
Senior Denton Jaggers scored 11 points and junior Malachi Chatman added nine points. Chatman sank three 3-pointers.
Nine Bronchos scored in the win.

Bethany (9-3) meets Harding Charter Prep Saturday (Jan. 10) at 8:30 p.m. for the tournament title.
The Eagles beat Tulsa Central, 72-39, Friday.
