HULBERT — Bethany had four players score in double figures and sank 16 3-pointers in an 84-30 rout of the Jenks JV to open the Lake Regional Electric Cooperative Hulbert Invitational Thursday (Jan. 8).

The Bronchos (8-2) were 16-of-32 from the 3-point line. Bethany had fewer buckets (13-of-30) than treys in the win. The Bronchos had seven 3-pointers in the first quarter alone to help build a 28-8 lead.

Senior Maddison McNutt scored a game-high 19 points. She was 5-of-6 from the 3-point line. McNutt also had three assists and a steal.

Sophomore Kamryn Donley added 17 points with three treys. Donley had two rebounds and a steal.

Junior Camryn Regier added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Regier had four assists, two blocked shots and a steal.

Senior Reese Harris had 11 points, three assists and five steals in the win.

The Bronchos had 39 rebounds and 12 steals in the rout.

The Jenks JV shot 24 percent from the field and turned the ball over 17 times.

UP NEXT

Bethany (8-2) plays Grove Friday (Jan. 9) at 7 p.m. in the semifinals of the Lake Regional Electric Cooperative Hulbert Invitational.

The Ridgerunners (8-2) beat 2A Pocola 39-19 Thursday.
