LAS VEGAS — Putnam City North continued its streak of routs in the Jerry Tarkanian Classic Saturday (Dec. 20) with a 63-21 win over Coronado (Nev.)

Senior Paige Williams paced the Panthers with 14 points. Fellow senior Jayla Constant added 12 points, 10 in the first half.

Senior D’Nae Jefferson followed with 10 points.

North had nine players score in the win.

Defensively, the Panthers held the Cougars to single digits in the first and third quarters and scoreless in the fourth quarter.

North’s winning streak is now 28 games.

UP NEXT

North (7-0) has Sunday off before meeting Bishop Gorman (Nev.) Monday (Dec. 22) in the semifinals of the Tarkanian Classic. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. Pacific at Orleans Area in Las Vegas.

Bishop Gorman (5-1) pummeled Timpanogos (Utah), 70-9, Saturday.

The Gaels have won five Nevada state titles. Their last championship was a 5A title in 2024.
