
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Putnam City North held off Ray-Pec (Mo.), 49-44, in the Panthers’ final game of the Family First Hoops Classic Saturday (Dec. 20).
Senior Nate Muriithi led North with 16 points in the contest. Fellow senior Mekhi Thomas added 14 points and had three 3-pointers in the second quarter.
Sophomore Keaton Murry finished with seven points (all in the first half).
UP NEXT
North (10-1, 3-0) resumes 6A-3 play at Muskogee Jan. 3.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
The Roughers (2-6, 1-2) beat Class B school Wilson (Henryetta), 63-51, Friday (Dec. 20).
