

OKLAHOMA CITY — Bethany neared triple-digits and held winless Harding Charter Prep scoreless in the second quarter in a 98-13 rout Friday (Dec. 19).
The Bronchos (6-2) had 29 steals and took advantage 36 Eagle turnovers overall in the win.
Harding also shot 22 percent (5-of-23) from the field. In contrast, Bethany shot 51 percent and just four turnovers.
The Bronchos sprinted out to a 28-6 lead as senior Maddison McNutt scored 10 of her 17 points, connecting on two 3-pointers.
In the second quarter, Bethany held the Eagles scoreless to build a 49-6 lead at halftime.
Later in the game, the Bronchos had plenty of reserves come off the bench due to the lopsided score.
Maddison McNutt shot 50 percent from the field, She had five assists, three rebounds and four steals.
Junior Ali Linn shot a sizzling 67 percent (6-of-9) and finished with 14 points. She had four assists, five rebounds, a block and a steal.
Sophomore Kamryn Donley added 13 points with four assists, four turnovers and four steals.
Junior Laira Halberg followed with 10 points in the win.
UP NEXT
Bethany (6-2) has time off for the holidays and will return Jan. 6 at home against Blanchard (3-3). Tipoff is at 6:30 p.m.
The Lions beat Purcell, 41-35, Thursday (Dec. 18) after losing a pair of games to end the Bethel Tournament.
