DUNCAN — Bethany junior Ali Linn poured in 26 points as the Bronchos opened the Southern Oklahoma Invitational with a 78-26 rout of Clinton Thursday (Dec. 11).

Bethany coach Eric Sailer saw both good and bad.
“Our focus this weekend is fundamentals,” Sailer said via text. “Blocking out, communication, taking care of the ball, etc.. We are a work in progress!!! We take two steps forward and one step back!”
Sailer said the coaching had to stay patient with his squad and “allow these girls learn and grow as they play.
“In order to be a good team we have to get better at our decision making process. Hopefully that will come as we have opportunities to learn and develop,” Sailer said.
Bethany turned the ball over 24 times.
“Overall I was proud of our effort, but turnovers have to decrease.”
The Bronchos took advantage of 47 Lady Red turnovers in the win, 32 from Bethany steals.
