
WARR ACRES — Choctaw outscored Putnam City by double-digits in the third quarter en route to a 53-42 win in a 6A-1 contest Tuesday (Dec. 9).
The Pirates held a 22-18 lead at halftime but the Yellowjackets went on a 19-9 run after the break.
Junior Myron Cooper paced Original with 16 points. Cooper drilled four 3-pointers in the loss.

Putnam City (1-4, 0-2) travels to Edmond Memorial next Tuesday (Dec. 16) at 7:30 p.m. for another 6A-1 game.
The Bulldogs (3-2, 1-1) beat Putnam City West, 77-76, Tuesday. Memorial will play Edmond North Thursday (Dec. 11) and Stillwater Friday (Dec. 12) before playing PC.
