GUTHRIE — Guthrie scored seven runs in the second inning en route to a 12-0 shutout of Western Heights, ending the Jets’ season Thursday (Oct. 9) in 5A Regional 4.
The Jets were held to two hits in the loss. Asimba and Bohnstedt each had a hit.
Asimba allowed nine hits and 12 runs. Of the runs she allowed, only four were earned due to five Jet errors. Asimba walked six batters and struck out one.
