MUSKOGEE — Muskogee built a 50-0 halftime lead en route to 63-0 rout of Putnam City West Friday (Oct. 3) in a 6A-II District 2 contest.
The Patriots’ woes continued as they were shut out for the fourth straight game. In that span, West has been outscored 232-0.
West did intercept Muskogee junior Kason Delgado twice. West junior Obama Bell had the second pick, taking the ball away from the Muskogee receiver in the end zone near the end of the first quarter.
“That corner is a tremendous athlete and made a great play,” Muskogee coach Dale Condict told the Muskogee Phoenix.
