
DEL CITY — Bethany knocked off another ranked opponent in Class 4A, beating seventh-ranked Christian Heritage, 3-2, Tuesday (Sept. 2). The Bronchos won, 21-25, 25-22, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11.
It was the eighth straight win over 4A ranked opponents for second-ranked Bethany, now 14-0. During that stretch, the Bronchos beat eighth-ranked Tuttle three times, 14th-ranked Tecumseh twice, 11th-ranked North Rock Creek, 10th-ranked Inola and the seventh-ranked Crusaders.
Senior Skylar Brady had 24 kills and 10 digs. Junior Gracee Geissler added 20 digs. Senior Callie Gulikers followed with 11 digs and senior Chloe Evans had five digs.
Junior Keyaira Ohern had five blocks and junior Emma Sailer added four blocks.
Senior Maya McPhaul contributed three aces.
