SHAWNEE — Bethany’s undefeated start in volleyball continued Thursday (Aug. 21) in a 3-0 win over North Rock Creek. The Bronchos (13-0) won, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-13.

“This was a defensive game,” Bethany coach Kerri Cagle said via text. “(We) needed to focus on details more and taking care of the little things.”

Junior Gracee Geissler had 12 digs in the win. Seniors Maya McPhaul and Callie Gulikers each had eight digs. Fellow senior Skylar Brady added seven digs. Another senior, Chloe Evans, followed with six digs.

Junior Keyaira Ohern finished with three aces and three blocks.

Bethany has a break in the schedule before heading to Del City Sept. 2 to play Christian Heritage Academy at 6 p.m.
