Garcia excels as Patriot runners finish seventh at Blanchard

BLANCHARD — The Putnam City West boys cross country team opened the season with a seventh place finish at the Blanchard Burner Saturday (Aug. 16).

Junior Diego Garcia finished 14th with a time of :17:43.67 to pace the Patriots.

“He has a lot of potential, we expect great things for him this year,” Putnam City West coach Mario Pando said via text.

UP NEXT

West travels to Southeast Saturday (Aug. 23) at 8 a.m. for the Southside Showdown.
