WARR ACRES — Shawnee beat Putnam City, 10-4, Thursday (May 1) on the Pirates’ Senior Night.
The 5A Wolves racked up 11 hits in the win, breaking open a 5-2 game with five runs over the last three innings.
Senior Connor Fast paced the PC with a 2-for-3 day and a double. Fellow senior Henry Plata was 1-for-2 with a double.
Freshman MJ Petties was also 1-for-2 with a double.
Senior JT Twillie was 1-for-2 and stole four bases in the loss.
Fast struck out seven batter over 6 1/3 innings of work. He allowed 10 hits and walked three.
