
EDMOND — Putnam City was held to one hit in a 11-0 five-inning run-rule loss to Edmond Santa Fe Tuesday (April 15) in a 6A-2 contest.
Pirate sophomore Bryson Vanover had a one-out single to left field for the lone hit. Junior Brandon Bennett had a fifth inning walk to reach base.
Putnam City hitters struck out 11 times in the loss.
Senior Andrew Simon took the loss. He allowed eight hits. Of the 11 runs he allowed, only six were earned due to six PC errors. Simon walked five batters.
