
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West was held hitless for a second straight game Tuesday (April 15) in a 14-1 loss to Edmond Memorial in a 6A-1 contest.
Trailing 6-0 in the first inning, the Patriots got their lone run. Freshman Malachi Ferguson walked and then came around to score on an error by Memorial freshman Creed Kardokus.
Senior Nathan Vann reached base twice after being hit by pitches. He also had a stolen base.
Sophomore Jarin Hoff and junior Ezequiel Hernandez each had a walk.
West hitters struck out nine times in the loss.

West travels to 4A Bethany Thursday (April 17) at 5 p.m.
The Bronchos (18-5) shut out 4A Tuttle, 5-0, Tuesday.
