
WARR ACRES — Putnam City was held to one hit in a 10-0 loss to Southmoore Friday (April 11) in the Northwest Optimist Tournament at Pirate Field.
Southmoore senior Kasen Rinehart went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple and two runs batted in.
The Sabercats (11-11) broke the 3-0 game open with seven runs in the fourth inning of the run-rule win.
The Pirates (2-18) didn’t get a hit until the bottom of the fourth inning when sophomore Bryson Vanover doubled to lead off the inning.
Freshman MJ Petties had a stolen base in the loss.

Putnam City (2-19) meets Putnam City West (4-13) Saturday (April 12) at 10 a.m. at Pirate Field.
The Patriots fell to the OKC Mets, 3-2 in eight innings, Friday.
