
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West managed just two hits in a 11-2 loss to Piedmont Thursday (April 10) on the first day of the Northwest Optimist Tournament.
Piedmont collected 17 hits in the win, including six doubles and a triple.
West freshmen Cadence Smith and Malachi Ferguson each had a hit in the loss. Patriot hitters walked five times and struck out six times.
