OKLAHOMA CITY — Western Heights collected 13 hits in an 8-4 win over Geary Thursday (April 10) in slow-pitch softball action.
Aracena Martin went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored in the win.
Makayla Brown, Yazmine Howell and Savannah Wohrley each went 2-for-3. Jasmine Frye, Emelyn Ordonez and Hannah Parker each had a hit.
After a three-run outburst in the first inning, Yazmine Howell came in to pitch 6 2/3 innings. She allowed seven hits and one run, walking three batters and striking out three.
