

OKMULGEE — Both the Putnam City boys and girls track teams won the Okmulgee Invitational meet Friday (March 28).
The boys squad easily outdistanced second-place Glenpool, 205-107, in team points.
Several Pirates earned first place in their events including senior Kamden Muex (400m), junior CJ Turnbull (300m hurdles), senior Sy Phipps (shot put) and senior Kelton Locke (long jump).
The Pirates won three relay races, 4x100m, 4x400m and 4x800m.
The Lady Pirates easily outpaced (Tulsa) Edison, 162-138, in team scoring.
First place girls finishers include sophomore Kailyn Bratton (100m and 200m), junior Aliyah Forbes (400m), freshman Ann Favor Johnson (100m hurdles), junior Amala Offiaeli (300m hurdles and long jump). The Lady Pirates earned titles in the 4x200m and 4x400m relays.
