OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West struggled at the plate Thursday (March 27) in a 6-1 loss to Southmoore.
The Patriots (3-5) had three hits in the contest and struck out 10 times.
West’s lone run came in the fourth. Sophomore Alex Jimenez singled and senior Nathan Vann doubled. Sophomore Aaron De Loera grounded out to score Jimenez.
Sophomore Jarin Hoff also had a hit in the loss.
Sophomore Aaron De Loera struck out seven batters in 5 2/3 innings of work in relief.
