OKLAHOMA CITY — Westmoore scored seven runs in the fourth inning to beat Putnam City West, 14-7, Tuesday (March 25) in a 6A-1 contest.
The Jaguars (6-6, 2-2) collected seven hits (including two triples) and took advantage of an West error in the big inning. Westmoore’s 6-3 lead ballooned to 13-3.
The Patriots (3-4, 2-2) scored seven runs despite being held to two hits. Freshman Cadence Smith and sophomore Jarin Hoff each had a hit.
Sophomore second baseman Alex Jimenez drove in three runs, despite going 0-for-3.
Westmoore committed six errors in the contest.
Each team was active on the base paths. Westmoore had 12 stolen bases while West swiped nine bags. Sophmore Aaron De Loera and Smith had two steals each.

West hosts Southmoore (9-4) Thursday (March 27) at 5 p.m. in a non-district matchup.
