TUTTLE — Bethany senior Levi Moore and sophomore Brody McLaren each homered in the Bronchos’ 9-1 rout of Lawton MacArthur Saturday (March 22) at the Tuttle Spring Break Festival.
Moore’s three-run shot over the left field wall gave the Bronchos (8-2) a 5-0 lead in the second inning. McLaren sent a ball over the left field wall in the fifth inning for a two-run homer and Bethany led, 9-0.
The Bronchos smacked nine hits in the in the win. Junior Karter Thomas went 2-for-4 with a double two runs scored. Seniors Charlie Tolle, Moore, Joe Berry, Layton Reither, Andrew Taber and sophomore Cooper Willis each had a hit.
Taber had a double and Berry stole two bases as the Bronchos finished 2-1 in the festival.
Willis allowed three hits and one run in five innings to earn the win. He walked one batter and struck out four. Willis threw 33 of his 46 pitches in the strike zone.

Bethany (8-2, 3-1) returns to 4A-4 action, hosting district leader Elk City (8-0, 3-0) Monday (March 24) at 5 p.m.
The Elks beat 3A Perry, 7-0, Thursday.
