OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North had three players score in double figures on a Senior Night rout of Lawton Eisenhower, 73-39, on Friday (Feb. 14) in a 6A-2 contest.
Senior Anthony Leonard scored a game-high 16 points, with four points in each quarter. Junior Nate Murliithi added 15 points. Sophomore Mekhi Thomas followed with 14 points, including four 3-pointers.
North (15-8, 8-5) led 21-3 after one quarter and the rout was on.
Putnam City North coach DJ Lemons praised his group of seniors, Khai Brown, Craig Gooden, Anthony Leonard and Bill Phillips.
“They’ve put in the work, led by example, and deserved a night like this,” Lemons said via text. “Winning by a large amount is great, but what means more is seeing how these guys played for each other—unselfish, disciplined, and with a lot of heart.
“This group has set the standard for what it means to wear this jersey, and I couldn’t be more grateful for their leadership.”
