
PIEDMONT— Putnam City North ran its winning streak to nine games with a 69-43 win over Piedmont Tuesday (Jan. 21) in a 6A-2 game.
The Lady Panthers (17-1, 8-0) broke open the 24-20 game at halftime by outscoring Piedmont (7-6, 4-4) 25-11 in the third quarter.
Senior Nykaiya Dillard scored a game-high 20 points with nine rebounds and four steals. Fellow senior Nini Geretta added 15 points, four rebounds, five assists and two steals.
Junior Kiana Gray followed with 13 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Senior Brandie Harrod finished with seven points, 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals.
Junior Tehlia Kutsoati also had seven points. Kutsoati also had two steals.

Putnam City North (nationally-ranked 22nd by MaxPreps) is off until Jan. 31 when they travel to Capitol Hill.
