Several West Metro athletes signed with colleges Wednesday (Nov. 13) to further their athletic and academic careers.

Bethany senior basketball player Keziah Lofton signed to play basketball at the University of Oklahoma. Lofton averaged 18.8 points and six rebounds per game and reached the 1,000-point mark in the 2023 season opener against Kingfisher (Dec. 5).

She was named to was named to the All-West Metro Girls Basketball Team last season.

Lofton also earned first team honors on the The Oklahoman’s 2024 Little All-City Girls Basketball Team for her junior season as well the Super 5 and 4A All-State by the newspaper.

Bethany senior Kayten Donley signed with Oral Roberts University.

The 6-foot-1 forward was named to the All-West Metro Girls Basketball Team as the 6th-man for the 2023-2024 season.

She averaged 12.6 points a game and 5.8 rebounds a contest on 50.8 percent shooting from the field. Donley was named to the second team on the The Oklahoman’s 2024 Little All-City Girls Basketball Team for her junior season.

Bethany senior volleyball player Jaidyn Reid signed with Southern Nazarene University. The outside hitter earned honorable mention All-City honors from The Oklahoman as a junior.

Reid surpassed the 1,000 kill mark during her high school career during the Lady Bronchos’ state championship win over Community Christian Oct. 19.

Bethany senior softball player Ireland Riley signed with with NCAA Division I Indiana State.

Riley was named the 4A-1 All-District Offensive Player of the Year. In the regular season, Riley hit .578. Hitting at the top of the order, Riley scored 37 runs and stole 15 bases. She was also named to Region 3 All-Region Utility player.

Putnam City North senior softball player Kylee Smith signed with Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Smith was named Honorable Mention on the 6A-2 All-District Team.

Putnam City North senior Brandie Harrod signed with Auburn to play basketball.

Last season with Millwood, Harrod averaged 15.8 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.8 blocks a contest.

She was named to the second team of The Oklahoman‘s Little All-City girls basketball team. Harrod also earned girls basketball Most Valuable Player of the Year honors with the Greater Metro Athletic All-Conference.

Putnam City North senior Harper Phillips signed with Southern Nazarene University to play golf.

Phillips, who switched to golf from baseball for his junior season, earned second-team honors with the Big 7 conference.

Western Heights senior softball player Abigayle Spitler signed with Southwestern Christian University.

Spitler helped the Lady Jets to the All City Athletic Conference Softball Championship.
