
BARTLESVILLE – Several Putnam City North swimmers placed in a meet with host Bartlesville, Bishop Kelley and Enid Tuesday Nov. 12.
Overall, the team finished second at the meet.
For the boys, Xander Applegate tied for second in the 50-meter freestyle and finished fifth in the 500-meter freestyle event. Luke Englemann added a fifth place finish in the 100-meter freestyle. Brody Cunningham also placed seventh in the 100-meter butterfly and fifth in the 100-meter breaststroke.
The boys 200-meter medley relay won fifth place. The team consists of Englemann, Cunningham, Applegate and Colin Turbayne.
The boys 200-meter freestyle team finished fifth. Swimmers include Noah Goggs, Engelmann, Brodrick O. and Felix Parker.
North got a third place finish in the boys 400-meter freestyle from Turbayne, Engelmann, Applegate and Cunningham.
On the girls side, Scarlet Mathis took third place in the 200-meter freestyle and fourth in the 100-meter butterfly. Aaliyah Wilkin added a fifth place finish in the 500-meter freestyle.
In the girls 200-meter medley relay, North finished fifth. Swimmers include Emma Bailor, Madison Keeton, Mathis and Wilkin.
The girls 400-meter freestyle relay finished fifth. The teams consists of Bailor, Wilkin, Keeton and Mathis.
