OKLAHOMA CITY – Mount Saint Mary racked up 14 hits in a Senior Night win over Western Heights, 6-2, Monday (Sept. 30).

Western Heights got its first run in the third inning. With two out, Aracena Martin reached on an infield error and Yazmine Howell was hit by a pitch. Jasmine Frye singled Martin home to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Mount Saint Mary scored a run in the bottom half of the inning to make it 3-1.

In the fourth inning, senior Ionia Howell was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning. She came around to score by stealing home and it was 3-2, Mount Saint Mary.

Four hits in the bottom of the fifth plated three more runs for St. Mary.

Abbie Bise, Yazmine Howell, Frye, Brown, Ionia Howell and Abby Spitler each had a hit in the loss.
